The following ABSIs of different Districts / Units selectedby the Departmental Selection Board are allowed to officiate in the rank of Inspector(AB) temporarily in the revised Pay Band of Rs . 22000-87000+Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible under the rule and are posted to different Dist's / Unit's subject to the condition that there should be no Courtcase/ Departmental Proceeding etc. pending or contemplated against any one of them and the period of punishment or Court Case if any he/ she is not operative now .
The promotion is considered based on seniority cum merit basis and taking into account of the provision of the " Assam SC&ST Reservation Rules 1983" as ammended in Oct '2012 and also as per " Post Based Roster " in pursuance of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and Govt . instruction thereon .
They should be released / absorbed immediately on receipt of this order with an intimation to this Hqrs .
The transfer and posting has been approved by P.E.B on 11/03/2020 .

2.Part IX- Advertisement and Notices sent by Offices financialy independent of Government and Centre and other Government Department are published on payment of charges at prescribed rate . Private advertisement and notices are also inserted on payment if received through the respective Deputy Commissioner or Sub - Divisional Officer .
3.Application for the Gazette should be addressed to the Publisher , Assam Gazette , Guwahati and must be accompanied by a remittance.
4.Applications for the free supply of the Gazette on " the Public service " should be addressed to the Under Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration (Printing and Stationery Department. ) Dispur .
5. Complaints regarding non - receipt of any number , part or page of the Gazette should be forwarded within two weeks of the date on which such number or page is due .

SUBJECT : - Timely publication of Government Notifications and other important matters in the weekly Official Gazette .
I am directed to say that it has come to the notice of Government that important notification having bearing on statutes and matters of immediate public interest are sometimes published in the Official Gazette on date much later than prescribed . Government have decided, therefore , to introduce the following system with immediate effect , which must be strictly adhered to in sending notice to the Assam Government Press for publication in the official Gazette .
1. In the first instance , it has to be noted that the printing of the weekly Gazette must be completed by the end of every Tuesday so that it may be duly published on every Wednesday .

2. Every notification and every other matter which is required to be printed and published in a particular issue of the Official Gazette must , therefore , reach the Deputy Director, Assam Government Press on the Monday of the week preceding the week in which it is required to be published. If this is not done it is infrictuous requesting the Deputy Director , Assam Government Press to publish such notification or other matter in the next issue of the Gazette , the expression usually inserted in all endorsements made to the Deputy Director .
