No.GLR.137 / 2019 /34 . The dispute between the Management of GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute , Subham Green 2nd Floor, Lokhra , Guwahati - 40 - Vs- Md. Nur Islam was referred to the Presiding Officer , Labour Court , Guwahati , constituted under the Industrial Dispute Act , 1947 for adjudication and whereas an Award has been given on the dispute by the said Labour Court , Guwahati as shown in the Annexure hereto .
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 17(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act , 1947 ( Act . XIV of 1947 ) as amended , the Governor of Assam is pleased to direct that the said Award to publish by notifying at the Office of the Asstt . Labour Commissioner , Guwahati .
This Department's earlier Notification No. GLR . 137/2019/17 , dated 06-11-2019 is hereby stand cancelled .

No. FRS.53 / 2019 / 123. - In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Assam Forest Regulation of 1891 ( VII of 1891 ) , the Governor of Assam hereby declare that it desires to constitute a Proposed Reserve Forest in the land described in the schedule hereto annexed and appoints the Deputy Commissioner , Dima Hasao District to be the Forest Settlement Officer , to enquire into and determine the existence , nature and extent of any right claimed by or alleged to exist in favour of any person in or over any land comprised within the limits and described in the schedule hereto annexed and any claim relating to the practice within such limits of " Jhum " cultivation and to deal with the same as provided in Chapter II of the above Regulation.
Under the provisions of Section 5 , sub- section (2 ) of the aforesaid Forest Regulation, the Governor of Assam hereby appoints the Divisional Forest Officer , Dima Hasao Division (West ) to assist the Forest Settlement Officer in the enquires prescribed in chapter - II of the Regulation in connection with the proposed reservation .

1. The Revenue Secretary , Settlement & Revenue Department, North Cachar Hills Autonomous District Council , Haflong, vide its letter No. Rev/ S /4- Allot/2019- 2020/ 1364-70 dated 24th September , 2019 , has allotted/transferred and mutated 425.5 Ha of land in the name of State Forest Department for raising of plantation as Compensatory Afforestation towards the " In - Principal Approval / Stage- I Forest Clearance " accorded by Central Government of India , Ministry of Environment , Forest & Climate Change vide its letter no . F. No. 8-11 / 2019 - FCdated 25th August , 2019 for diversion of Forest land under Forest ( Conservation ) Act, 1980 in favour of M/sCalcom Cement India Limited for open cast mining of limestone at Umrangso , Dima Hasao District , Assam .
2. To conserve the afforestation, the land for Compensatory Afforestation shall be notified as Reserve Forest by the State Government as per the conditions of Forest Clearance under Forest (Conservation ) Act , 1980 .
