No. TAD / BC/ 477 / 2011 /83.- In partial modification of this Department's earlier Notification No. TAD/BC/ 477 / 2011 /56- B dated 21/05/2014 , the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify that the Clause No. 2 ( i ) and ( ii ) has been modified as follows:
Clause 2 ( i ) & ( ii ) ( in original )
Constitution of the Councilt
i ) Each Council shall consist of a minimum of 15 ( fifteen ) and a maximum of 25 (twenty- five) Members nominated by the Government of Assam . Out of the above , two members shall be officials to be nominated by the State Government .
ii) Each Council shall have one Chairman and one Vice Chairman , to be nominated by the Government of Assam from amongst the Non - Official Members .
Clause 2 ( i ) & ( ii ) as modified

Notification No.HMA.307 / 2013 /371 - A dtd. 11/10/2020 , has been arrested on 15.10.2020 in connection with CID PS Case No.21 / 2020 U / S 120B/ 409 IPC R/W Sec.66B I.T. Act, added Sec.201 / 204 IPC and Sec. 25 ( 1 - B ) Arms Act , relating to the leakage and circulation of question papers of the written examination for the post of SI ( UB ) of police prior to the commencement of the examination scheduled on 20.09.2020 , which is unbecoming of a Police Officer ; and Now, therefore , in the interest of public service , the Governor of Assam is satisfied that Kumar Sanjit Krishna , APS is deemed to have been suspended with effect from 15.10.2020 ( i.e. date of arrest ) pending drawal of Departmental Proceedings upon his arrest exceeding a period of 48 (forty eight) hours.
