No. GLR . 55 / 2021 / 47. - Whereas an Industrial disputes has arisen in the matter specified in the Schedule below between the Management of M / S. Assam Roofing Ltd. Bonda, Narengi, Guwahati-26-Vs- their workmen represented by Assam Asbestors Workers Union, Bonda, Narengi , Guwahati - 26.
In whereas it is considered expedient by the Government of Assam to refer the dispute for adjudication to Presiding Officer, Labour Court , Guwahati , constituted under Section 7-A of the Industrial Disputes Act , 1947 ( Act XIV of 1947) .
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (c ) Sub- Section ( 1 ) of Section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( Act - XIV of 1947 ) as amended the Governor of Assam is pleased to refer the said Dispute to the Presiding Officer , Labour Court , Guwahati appointed under the provisions of the said act .
-SCHEDULE-
1. Whether the management is justified in their view of adjusting the already paid wages for the period of lock down by the Central Government i.e. from 29th March, 2020 to 17th May , 2020 or not ?
2. Whether the Management is justified for not paying the wages for the period under lockdown by the State Government i.e. from 28th June, 2020 to 11th August , 2020 ?
3. If not , Whether the workmen are entitled to the wages during that period or not . ?
