No.REGN . 03 / 2021/ 20.- In exercise of the power conferred by Section 3 of the - Assam Muslim Marriages & Divorces Registration Act , 1935 ( Assam Act , IX of 1935 ) , the Governor of Assam is pleased to issue license to Abdul Mutalib Mandal , S/O Late Dukhi Mandal , Vill .- Chalantapara Pt - IV , P.O.- Chalantapara , P.S.- Jogighopa , Dist. Bongaigaon , Assam within the jurisdiction of Jogighopa Police Station , Bongaigaon , District to register Muslim Marriages and Divorces.
The Muslim Marriage Registrar will function as per provision laid down in the Assam Muslim Marriages & Divorces Registration Act , 1935 ( Assam Act , IX of 1935 ) and Rules and Regulations framed there under . He will be entitled to remuneration as per table of fees prescribed in schedule -IV of the Assam Muslim Marriages & Divorces Registration Act , 1935 and as per provision laid down in Rule 20 and 23 of the Rule framed under the said Act. During the period of incumbency as Muslim Marriage Registrar , he will not be allowed to hold any other salaried appointment without permission from the District Registrar . He will be confirmed after passing the Departmental Examination as provided in Rule 7 of the above Rules . If he fails to pass the Departmental Examination within 3 (three ) years from the date of his appointment on probation , he shall be removed from his office .
