The pension and other retirement benefit of the appointee shall be governed by the "New Defined Contribution Pension Schemes " , 2009 issued vide Finance Department's O.M. No. BW 7/ 2008 /Pt/ 40 , dated 06/10/2009 in line with the contribution pension scheme announced by the Government of India in terms of the Government letter No. BW3 /2003/Pt- II/ 1 dated Dispur the 25th January, 2005 .

No. REGN . 04/2021 /26.- In exercise of the power conferred by Section 3 of the - Assam Muslim Marriages & Divorces Registration Act , 1935 ( Assam Act , IX of 1935 ) , the Governor ofAssam is pleased to issue license to Saiful Islam, S/ O Khayer Uddin Ahmed , Vill . - Namberpara Part - II , P.O. - Namberpara , P.S. - Abhayapuri , Dist Bongaigaon, Assam within the jurisdiction of Manikpur under Abhayapuri Police Station, Bongaigaon , District to register Muslim Marriages and Divorces .
TheMuslim Marriage Registrar will function as per provision laid down in the Assam Muslim Marriages &DivorcesRegistration Act , 1935 ( Assam Act , IX of 1935 ) and Rules and Regulations framed there under. He will be entitled to remuneration as per table of fees prescribed in schedule - IV of the Assam Muslim Marriages & Divorces Registration Act , 1935 and as per provision laid down in Rule 20 and 23 of the Rule framed under the said Act . During the period of incumbency as Muslim Marriage Registrar, he will not be allowed to hold any other salaried appointment without permission from the District Registrar. He will be confirmed after passing the Departmental Examination as provided in Rule 7 of the above Rules. Ifhe fails to pass the Departmental Examination within 3 (three ) years from the date of his appointment on probation, he shall be removed from his office .

SUBJECT : - Timely publication of Government Notifications and other important matters in the weekly Official Gazette .
I amdirected to say that it has come to the notice of Government that important notification having bearing on statutes and matters of immediate public interest are sometimes published in the Official Gazette ondate much later than prescribed . Government have decided , therefore , to introduce the following system with immediate effect , which must be strictly adhered to in sending notice to the Assam Government Press for publication in the Official Gazette .
1.Inthe first instance , it has to be noted that the printing of the weekly Gazette must be completed by the end of every Tuesday so that it may be duly published on every Wednesday.

Every notification and every other matter which is required to be printed and published in a particular issue of the Official Gazette must , therefore , reach the Director, Assam Government Press on the Monday of the week preceding the week in which it is required to be published. 3.Wherever it is necessary to print and publish a notification on a specified date ( excluding such Notification or communicate as are to be published in Gazette extraordinary ) clear instruction of that effect must be given to the Director , Assam Government Press , both on the body of such notification within the indication at the top in the red ink and is a separate covering .

The Childrens Wing at Belvedere remains open on all working days from 3 p . m . to 6 p . m . and Sundays and Holidays from 10 a . m . to 5 p . m . for the children between 5 and 14 years .
The Library is entirely closed on the Republic Day , Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi's birth day on the 26th January, 15th August and 2nd October every year respectively.
Persons not less than 18 years of age are eligible to use the Library . Both the Reading Room and the Lending Section are free to be used by any one residing in any part of the India Dominion . There is no subscription to pay but only security is each essential for borrowing books .
