No. GSA.13 / 2020/Pt/ 31.- Whereas the Chancellor of the Assam Women's University constituted a Committee vide Notification No. GSA.13 / 2020/ 21 dated 16-02-2021 to submit its recommendation within three months for selection of new Vice Chancellor of Assam Women's University;
And whereas the Committee could not complete the selection processes within the stipulated time and the Chairman of the Committee requested vide email dated 31-05-2021 for extension of the term ofthe Committee;
And whereas Model Code of Conduct was in force in the state for the General Election and the Committee published Advertisement for the post only after the Election Processes were completed,
And therefore, considering the request of the Chairman of the Committee and in view of the circumstances leading to delay in completing the process of the Committee , the Chancellor of the University, in exercise of the power conferred under Section 11 ( 1 ) of the Assam Women's University Act , 2013 read with Section 23 of the Assam General Clauses Act 1915 , is pleased to extend the term of the committee upto 31st August , 2021 .
The committee shall submit its recommendation as per the provisions of the Assam Women's University Act, 2013 within stipulated time .
This is issued as per the approval of the Chancellor, Assam Women's University.

4. Bidders are advised to scan their Technical Papers at a resolution of 100 dpi ( in Black & White mode) in " .pdf " format for multiple pages with maximum file size of 25 MB. If the file size exceeds 25 MB , the bidders are advised to create multiple files and upload the same in " Upload Additional Document " stage .
5. In the event of date of bid opening being a holiday , the activities will take place on the next working day.
