(Hojai) registered with Registration No. H-39/1992-93 dated - 30th July, 1992 ceased to function for long and even after issuance of necessary notice giving an opportunity to revive the society, members have not taken any initiatives for its revival.

Whereas the inspection report caused under Section 88(I) of the Assam Co-operative Act, 2007/ (As amended up-to-date) reveals that there is no scope for it revival.

Now, I Sri B. Chakravarty, Dist. Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaon is of opinion that the registration of the said society requires to be cancelled.

Therefore, in exercise of power conferred under Section 94(2) of the Assam Co-operative Societies Act./2007(Act-IV of 2012). I do hereby cancel the registration of the society.

No. PPG(P) 418/2021/23.- In pursuance of the approval of Hon'ble Cabinet held on 28th October, 2021 for streamlining the procedures for reducing the hardship faced by the Pensioners and in order to simplify the procedure for sanction of Commutation of Pension, the Governor of Assam is pleased to authorize the Director of Pension and AG, Assam to receive proposals of the retirees applying for Commutation of Pension within one year of retirement directly from the Administrative Department and to give authority directly to the concerned Treasuries for disbursement of the commuted amount. Finance Department, Government of Assam will make separate Budgetary Provision for the purpose.

No. PPG(P) 418/2021/21.- In pursuance of the approval of Hon'ble Cabinet held on 28th October, 2021 for streamlining the procedures for reducing the hardship faced by the Pensioners and in order to simplify the procedure for generation of PPO, Finance Department, Government of Assam will post 3 (Three) more joint Directors at the Directorate of Pension with authorization for signature in PPOs along with Digital signature for E-PPO generation with immediate effect.

No. PPG(P) 418/2021/20.- In pursuance of the approval of Hon'ble Cabinet held on 28th October, 2021 for streamlining the procedures for reducing the hardship faced by the Pensioners and in order to simplify the procedure for waiver of excess drawal, Finance Department, Government of Assam will authorize the Director of Pension for waiver of excess drawal up to the amount of Rs. 3 Lakh (Rupees Three Lakh) exclusively for the Pensioners of Provincialised Schools and PRIs with immediate effect.

No. PPG(P) 418/2021/25.- In pursuance of the approval of Hon'ble Cabinet held on 28th October, 2021 for streamlining the procedures for reducing the hardship faced by the Pensioners and in order to simplify the procedure for submission of Life Certificates by the Pensioners of the State Government, the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify the Pensioners of State Government to submit their Life Certificates to the repective Bank Branches through Digital BIO-METRIC SEVA in the JEEVAN PRAMAAN Portal.

All authorized Banks will accept Life Certificate through JEEVAN PRAMAAN Portal and will take necessary steps for issue of pension to the concerned Pensioner.

No. BB.20/2021/29.- In pursuane of the approval of the competent authority, the Government Guarantee (GG) against loans taken by Assam Infrastructure Financing Authority (AIFA) under Nabard Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA) to the tune of 10,000 Cr (INR) is granted alongwith exemption from payment of guarantee fee on Government Guarantee. Under Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and as per Notification No. REGN.43/86/68 dated 7th December, 1989, the competent authority has also approved exemption to AIFA from payment of registration fee in this regard.

This comes into force with immediate effect.
