No. DCTO 5/2005/116.- Whereas it is observed from the records that the Mahabhairab Udyogik O Banijyik Cooperative Society Ltd. registered under the Assam Coop:Societies Act 2007 (Act IV of 2012) bearing registration No. T-23 of 2005 dtd. 17th December, 2005.

Whereas the society has ceased functioning since long and the members have not taken step for its revival

AND

Whereas inspection under Section 88(1) of the Assam Coop:Societies Act. (2007) reveals that the society leaves no scope for its revival and suggests for liquidation.

Now, I Sri P. K. Das, Dist. Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Sonitpur, Tezpur is of opinion that the registration of the Society ought to be cancelled.

Private advertisement and notices are also inserted on payment if received through the respective Deputy Commissioner or Sub-Divisional Officer.

Lett. No. PG. 22/70/P-II/1, dated Shillong, the 2nd June, 1970 from the Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam to all Administrative Departments, all Head of Departments, All Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Officers.

SUBJECT :- Timely publication of Government Notifications and other important matters in the weekly Official Gazette.

I am directed to say that it has come to the notice of Government that important notification having bearing on statutes and matters of immediate public interest are sometimes published in the Official Gazette on date much later than prescribed. Government have decided, therefore, to introduce the following system with immediate effect, which must be strictly adhered to in sending notice to the Assam Government Press for publication in the Official Gazette.

1. In the first instance, it has to be noted that the printing of the weekly Gazette must be completed by the end of every Tuesday so that it may be duly published on every Wednesday.

2. Every notification and every other matter which is required to be printed and published in a particular issue of the Official Gazette must, therefore, reach the Director, Assam Government Press on the Monday of the week preceding the week in which it is required to be published. 3. Wherever it is necessary to print and publish a notification on a specified date (excluding such Notification or communicate as are to be published in Gazette extraordinary) clear instruction of that effect must be given to the Director, Assam Government Press, both on the body of such notification within the indication at the top in the red ink and is a separate covering.

Journal/historical and antiquarian subjects. The premises of the Samiti, situated on the southern bank of the Dighali Tank, Gauhati, remains open from 2 p. m. to 5 p. m. on all days except Monday and Gazetted and local holidays or which it remains closed.

The Reading Room at Belvedere and the Lending Section of this Library are open on all working days from 9 a. m. to 8. p. m. and from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. on Sunday and holidays notified by the Library and the Second Saturday of every month.

The Reading Room at Esplanode is open on all working days from10 a. m. to 5 p. m.

The Childrens Wing at Belvedere remains open on all working days from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. and Sundays and Holidays from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. for the children between 5 and 14 years.

The Library is entirely closed on the Republic Day, Independence Day and Mahatma Gandhi's birth day on the 26th January, 15th August and 2nd October every year respectively.

Persons not less than 18 years of age are eligible to use the Library. Both the Reading Room and the Lending Section are free to be used by any one residing in any part of the India Dominion. There is no subscription to pay but only security is each essential for borrowing books.
