In whereas it is considered expedient by the Government of Assam to refer the dispute for adjudication to Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Dibrugarh constituted under Section 7-A of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Act XIV of 1947).

No. DCTO. 12/2020/62.- Whereas it is observed from the records that the Dibyojyoti Village Organisation Coop: Society Ltd. registered under the Assam Coop: Societies Act. 2007 (Act IV of 2012) bearing registration No. B-244 of 2016-2017 dated 23rd December, 2016.

Whereas the society has ceased functioning since long and the members have not taken step for its revival.

Whereas inspection under Section 88 (1) of the Assam Coop: Societies Act. (2007) reveals that the society leaves no scope for its revival and suggests for liquidation.

Now, I Sri P. K. Das, Dist. Deputy Registrar of Coop: Societies, Sonitpur, Tezpur is of opinion that the registration of the society ought to be cancelled.

Therefore, in exercise of power conferred under Section 94(2) of the Assam Coop: Societies Act. 2007 (Act. IV of 2012), I do hereby cancel the registration of the society.

Further, in exercise of power conferred under Section 95 sub section (1) of the said Act., I do hereby appoint the liquidator of the Coop: Societies, Biswanath Chariali to be the Liquidator of the said society. All claims against the said society must be submitted to the Liquidator within 30 (thirty) days from publication of this notice.
