No. SYW.227/2022/28.- : In pursuance of the approval of the Hon'ble State Cabinet in its meeting held on 23rd January, 2023, the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify that the following international standard multidisciplinary sports complexes are placed under the management and control of the Sports Authority of Assam:-

1) Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex at Khanikar in Dibrugarh District, Assam.

2) Sports Complex with Athletic Stadium, Cricket Stadium, Swimming Pool, Indoor Stadium, Tennis and Volleyball Court at Saboti, North Lakhimpur.

3) Sports Complex with Football Stadium, Indoor Stadium, Lawn Tennis Court at Lakshminath Playground, Sualkuchi.

4) 10 Nos. of District Stadia being developed at a cost of Rs. 50 Crore each on Govt. Land and not associated with management by any Sports Association in 10 districts of the State - Biswanath, Dhemaji, Nalbari, Bajali, Kamrup, Baksha, Charaideo, Sivsagar, Lakhimpur and Chirang.

5) Any other future projects costing Rs. 25.00 Crores and above.

The Stadia being managed by Sports Associations are excluded from the purview of this notification.

This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.

No. SYW.227/2022/29.- In pursuance of the approval of the Hori'ble State Cabinet in its meeting held on 23rd January, 2023, the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify that the following stadia already developed or being developed in the State are placed under the management and control of the Board of Sports of Assam:-

1) 40 (forty) Nos. of Mini-Stadia being developed at an amount of Rs. 12 Crore each in 40 (forty) LACs of the State.

2) Other stadia developed through funds of the State Exchequer under various schemes like NLCPR, Uttoron, CM's Special Package etc. not associated with management by any Sports Association and costing below Rs. 25.00 Crores.

The Stadia being managed by Sports Associations are excluded from the purview of this notification.

This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.

No. SYW.228/2022/30.- In pursuance of the approval of the Hon'ble State Cabinet in its meeting held on 23rd January, 2023, the Governor of Assam is pleased to notify that henceforth obtaining approval of the State Cabinet is mandatory for leasing or renting of the properties under the control of the Sports Authority of Assam and the Board of Sports of Assam.

For leasing or renting of any properties which have been entrusted to the Sports Authority of Assam and the Board of Sports of Assam to any organization or person either fully or in part, the Sports Authority of Assam and Board of Sports of Assam will approach the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam to place the matter before the State Cabinet for consideration.

This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.

Whereas the society has ceased functioning since long and the members have not taken step for its revival.

AND

Whereas inspection under Section 88 (1) of the Assam Coop; Societies Act. (2007) reveals that the society leaves no scope for its revival and suggests for liquidation.

Now, I Sri P. K. Das, Dist. Deputy Registrar of Coop; Societies, Sonitpur, Tezpur is of opinion that the registration of the society ought to be cancelled.

Therefore, in exercise of power conferred under Section 94(2) of the Assam Coop:Societies Act.2007 (Act. IV of 2012), I do hereby cancel the registration of the society.

Further, in exercise of power conferred under Section 95 Sub section (1) of the said Act., I do hereby appoint the liquidator of the Coop: Societies, Tezpur to be the Liquidator of the said society.

Therefore, in exercise of power conferred under Section 94(2) of the Assam Coop:Societies Act.2007 (Act. IV of 2012), I do hereby cancel the registration of the society.

Further, in exercise of power conferred under Section 95 Sub section (1) of the said Act., I do hereby appoint the liquidator of the Coop: Societies, Tezpur to be the Liquidator of the said society.
