No. 278062/15.- On recommendation and decision of the Hon'ble Cabinet, Assam held on 22nd February, 2023 and as per Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprise Department's letter no. 233240/541, dtd. 2nd March, 2023 the Governor of Assam is pleased to re-engage the following ex- employees of erstwhile Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd., Assam provisionally and until further orders by appointing them as Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) under Public Health Engineering Department in the pay scale of Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- (PB-4) with Grade Pay Rs.12,700/- P.M. plus other allowances as admissible under Rule and posted against the vacant post as shown against their names.

The appointment is provisional and subject to submission of relevant certificates/documents within 15 days from date of issue of this Notification. The appointment may be terminated at any time without notice and without assigning any reason thereof and his/her service is liable to be transferred to anywhere in Assam including the Hill Areas/ Autonomous Council Areas.

The appointees joining to State Government service on or after 1st February, 2005 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Service (Pension) Rules, 1969 and orders issued there under from time to time. Their pension and other retirement benefit will be governed by the New Pension Scheme 2005.

The appointees shall submit affidavit as prescribed, at the time of joining and in case of any findings are found contradictory to the facts submitted in the affidavit, such candidates shall be summarily dismissed from the service.

He/She should join in his /her new place of posting within 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of receipt of this notification.

No T.A /D.A is admissible either on joining in the post or on termination of appointment.

The appointment is at the entry level post and no subsequent prayer for Pay Protection / Pay Parity against the earlier held job(s) shall be entertained and their inter-se-seniority shall be fixed at the bottom of

No. DCT(A).17/2023/14.- Whereas it is observed from the records that the Diplonga Small Tea Growers Coop: Society Ltd. Registered under the Assam Coop: Societies Act, 2007 (Act. IV of 2012) bearing Registration No. T-04 / 2012, dtd. 21st March, 2012.

No. E-285368/65.- Whereas, the Superintendent of Police, Directorate of Vigilane and Anti- Corruption, Assam, Guwahati, vide letter No. DGVA/RI/2023/1610 Dated 13th March, 2023, had informed this Department regarding registration of a Criminal Case (ACB PS Case No. 12/2023, U/S 120 B IPC, R/W Sec. 7 (a) PC Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018) against Sri Mukhyadhar Das, Inspector, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jorhat.

Whereas, it has also been reported that Sri Mukhyadhar Das, Inspector, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jorhat was absconding from 10th March, 2023 and was not co-operating with officials of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Assam in investigation of the case.

Now, in view of the above, pending drawal of the Departmental Proceeding, Sri Mukhyadhar Das, Inspector, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jorhat is placed under suspension under Rule 6(1) (c) of Assam Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964 with immediate effect.

During the period of suspension, the headquarter of Sri Mukhyadhar Das, Inspector, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs will remain as Jorhat. He is instructed not to engage himself in any profession or trade during the period of suspension.
