No. AAP.101/2022/56.- Whereas the service of Smti. Barbie Hazarika, ACS, Asstt. Commissioner. Kamrup (M) & OSD Secondary Education Department was placed under suspension w.e.f. 2nd June, 2022 vide Notification No.AAP.101/2022/6 dated 2nd June, 2022;

Whereas, departmental proceeding has been drawn up against Smti. Barbie Hazarika, ACS, vide Show Cause Notice No. AAP. 101/2022/23 dated 10th June, 2022;

Whereas suspension period in respect of Smti. Barbie Hazarika, ACS. was extended for another 3 months vide letter No. AAP.101/2022/46 dated 12th December, 2022; w.e.f 2nd December, 2022.

Whereas, considering the seriousness of the charges, it has been decided by the Disciplinary Authority that re-instatement at this stage may not be in the interest of public service;

Now, therefore, the Governor of Assam is pleased to extend the period of suspension in respect of Smti. Barbie Hazarika, ACS, for a period of another 3 (three) months w.e.f. 2nd March, 2023 or until further order.

No. E-268617/39.- Assurance of a remunerative and stable price enrollment for growers/ farmers is very important for increasing agricultural production and productivity. The market price for agricultural produce many times tends, to be unstable and volatile which may result into undue losses to the growers and discourage adoption of the modern technology and required inputs.

The Government's price policy for agricultural commodities seeks to ensure remunerative prices to the growers for their produce with a view to encourage higher investment and production and to safeguard the interest of consumers by making available supplies at reasonable prices with low cost of intermediation. The price policy also seeks to evolve a balanced and integrated price structure in the perspective of the overall needs of the economy.

Towards this end, the Government of India announces, Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for major agricultural commodities each year in both the Crop Seasons after taking into account the recommendations of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP).

In the scheme for the procurement of main Kharif and Rabi crops in the year of 2022-23 as per the guideline of GOI, the notification regarding Crop calendar and harvesting period of main Kharif and Rabi crops notified under PSS in Assam State is to be required as a part of proposal.

Now therefore, Government of Assam is pleased to declare the sowing and harvesting time period of main Kharif and Rabi crops notified under PSS in the State of Assam, as under.
