The appointees shall have to complete the Basic Training Course at the Indian Institute of Legal Metrology, Ranchi as per provision of Sub-Rule (3) of the Rule 20 of the Assam Standards of Weights & Measures (Enforcement) Rules, 1994 before they arc considered for confirmation to the post of Inspector of Legal Metrology.

In pursuance of Finance (Budget) Department's Letter No. BW.3/2003/Pt-II/1 dated 25-01- 2005, the services of the appointees will be subject to the New Pension Rules of the State Government and the appointees shall have to furnish an undertaking along with the joining report.

Their inter-se-seniority will be determined later on.

Case No. 14/2023 U/S 120(8)/341/342/448/294/ 323/307/379/387/427/506 IPC, R/W Sec 98(a)/99(3)(4)(5)(6) Assam Police Act, 2007 on prima facie evidences found established pertaining to his involvement in the aforesaid CID PS Case;

Whereas, as per the aforementioned report of Spl. Supdt. of Police, CID, Assam, Shri Pushkal Gogoi, APS has been taken in remand for 05 (five) days in connection with the said CID PS Case;

And whereas, 48 (forty eight) hours have exceeded since the time of detention in custody of Shri Pushkal Gogoi, APS w.e.f. 3rd September, 2023, the Governor of Assam, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred under Rule 6 (2) of the Assam Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1964, is pleased to order that Shri Pushkal Gogoi, APS, Dy. Supdt. of Police (HQ), Bajali, is deemed to have been placed under suspension with effect from the date of his arrest i.e. 3rd September, 2023 until further orders, pending drawal of Departmental Proceeding.

During the period of suspension, the headquarter of Shri Pushkal Gogoi, APS, if released from judicial custody, will be Assam Police Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati, subject to review, if deemed necessary.
