ECF No. RLR. 568854/13.- Whereas, Shri Ashirbad Hazarika, ALRS (DR-2019), the then Circle Officer (Attached), Dalgaon Revenue Circle, Dist.- Darrang was placed under suspension with effect from 10th November, 2022 vied Notification No. RDM-11/248/2022- LR-REV/ ECF 246874/4 dated 12th November, 2022, subsequent to his arrest on 10th November, 2022 in connection with Dhula PS Case No. 114/ 2022 U/S 376/302 IPC R/W Section 10 POCSO and R/W Sec. 14 Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, Added Section 120B/218/201 IPC;

Whereas, the departmental proceedings initiated against the officer by issue of show cause vied No. RDM-11/ 248/ 2022-LR-REV/ ecf 246874/117 dated 17th March, 2023 is ongoing;

Whereas, the Suspension Review Committee has observed that the circumstances that led to suspension of the Delinquent Officer Shri Ashirbad Hazarika, ALRS and subsequent extensions thereof still prevails and revoking his suspension may vitiate the office working environment wherever he is posted given the gravity of charge he is facing relating to submitting inquest report of a deceased woman from weaker section with palpably wrong cause of death;

Whereas, the Suspension Review Committee has recommended for extension of suspension of Shri Ashirbad Hazarika, ALRS (DR-2019), by another 3 (three) months with effect from 10th May, 2025.

Therefore, considering the seriousness of the matter, the Governor of Assam is pleased to extend the period of suspension in respect of Shri Ashirbad Hazarika, ALRS (DR-2019) for further period of 3 (three) months with effect from 10th May, 2025.
