S. 0.58(E).— in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises Sh.Sarat Kumar Sahoo, Land Aqcuisition Officer, N2-35, IRC Village, NayapalH, Bhubaneswar, District Khurda as the competent authority, to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the land of stretch from Km.319/632 to Km.388/000 (Vishakhapatnam - Bhubaneswar Section) of National Highway No.5 (for widening of existing National Highway and construction of bypasses if any) in the State of Orissa as specified in the Schedule below, till further orders.
