का. आ. 154( अ). केन्द्रीय सरकार, जांच आयोग अधिनियम, 1952( 1952 का 60 ) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकारके गृह मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 389 ( अ ) तारीख 17 अप्रैल, 2000 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: - उक्त अधिसूचना में, विचारणीय विषयों के पश्चात्" आयोग केन्द्रीय सरकारको अपनी रिपोर्ट 23 फरवरी, 2001 को या उससे पहले प्रस्तुत करेगा " शब्दोंके स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा; अर्थात्:-
" आयोग केन्द्रीय सरकार को अपनी रिपोर्ट 15 मार्च , 2001 को या उससे पहले प्रस्तुत करेगा। "
[फा. सं. 14036/50/2000 - यू.टी.पी. ] पी. के. जलाली, संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पण: जांच आयोग का गठन करने वाली मूल अधिसूचना भारत के राजपत्र में सं. का. आ. 389( अ ) , तारीख 17 अप्रैल , 2000 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी, और तत्पश्चात् सं. का.आ. 688 (अ ) तारीख 21 जुलाई, 2000 , का.आ. 849(अ) तारीख 21 सितम्बर , 2000, का.आ. 1041 ( अ ) , तारीख 21 नवम्बर, 2000 और का.आ. 68 ( अ) , तारीख 22 जनवरी, 2001 द्वारा संशोधित की गई थी ।

MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 22nd February, 2001
S.O. 154(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government ofIndia in theMinistry ofHome Affairs Number S.O. 389 (E) , dated, the 17th April , 2000 , namely:-
In the said notification , after the terms of referencc , for the words " The Commission shall submit its report to the Central Government on or before the 23rd February, 2001" , the following shall be substituted , namely:-
"The Commission shall submit its report to the CentralGovernment on or before the 15th March, 2001. " [F.No. 14036/50/2000 -UTP]

Note : The principal notification constituting the Commission of Inquiry was published in the Gazette of India vide No. S.O. 389 (E), dated the 17th April, 2000 and subscquently amended vide No. S.O. 688 (E) , dated, the 21st July, 2000 ; S.O. 849 (E) , dated the 21st September, 2000 ; S.O. 1041 (E) , dated, the 21stNovember, 2000; and S.O. 68 (E) , dated , the 22nd January, 2001 .
