G.S.R. 169(E).—Whereas the Ct-ntral Government is satisfied that the use of the fixed dose combination of Diazeparn and Diphcnhydramine Hydrochlorido is likely to involve risk to human beings and that in the pubi ic interest it is necessary and expedient to prohibit the manufacture, sale and distribution of the said combination of Diazcpam and Diphcnhydrammc Hydrochloride,

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26A of the Drags and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940), fhe Central Go verrunent hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, No GSR 578(E) dated 23rd July, 1981, namely —

In the Table appended to the said notification, afterserialNo 58 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall bo added, namely —

"59 Fixed dose combination of Diazcpam and Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride "
