सा.का.पि. 857(अ ) -केन्द्रीय सरकार, मानव अधिकार संरक्षण अधिनियम, 1993 ( 1994 का 10 ) की धारा 40 की उपधारा ( 1 ) और उपधारा ( 2 ) के खंड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग अध्यक्ष और सदस्य ( वेतन , भत्ते और अन्य सेवा की शर्तें ) नियम, 1993 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. (1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग अध्यक्ष और सदस्य ( वेतन, भत्ते और अन्य सेवा की शर्तें ) संशोधन नियम , 2001है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे । 2. राष्ट्रीय मानव अधिकार आयोग अध्यक्ष और सदस्य (वेतन, भते और अन्य सेवा की शर्तें ) नियम, 1993 के मिथम 4 के उपनियम ( 1 ) के खंड ( i ) में " सेवा के प्रत्येक संपूरित कलैण्डर वर्ष या उसके भाग के लिए पन्द्रह दिन की दर से उपार्जित छुट्टी " शब्दों के स्थान पर " सेवा के प्रत्येक संपूरित कलैण्डर वर्ष या उसके भाग के लिए 30 दिन की दर से उपार्जित छुट्टी " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
[फा. स. 15011/42/2001 - एचआर ] सुरेन्द्र कुमार, संयुक्त सचिव ( एचआर) टिप्पण:-मूल नियम भारत के राजपत्र में सा. का. नि. सं. 760(अ ) तारीख 23 दिसंबर, 1993 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और उनमें पश्वात्वर्ती संशोधन सा का. नि. 8( अ) तारीख 7 जनवरी, 1994 सं. सा. का. नि. 548( अ) तारीख 20 जुलाई, 1999 और सं. सा. का. मि. 837 ( अ) तारीख 20 अक्तूबर, 2000 द्वारा किए गए थे।

G.S.R. 857 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section ( 1 ) and clauso (a) of sub- section (2) of section 40 of the Protection of Human Rights Act , 1993 ( 10 of 1994) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the National Human Rights Commission Chairperson and Members (Salaries , Allowances and other Conditions of Service) Rules , 1993 , namely :-
1.(1) These rules may be called the National Human Rights Commission Chairperson and Members ( Salaries , Allowances and other Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules , 2001 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2. In the National Human Rights Commission Chairperson and Members (Salaries , Allowances and other Conditions of Service) Rules , 1993 , in clause (i) of sub- rule ( 1) ofrule 4, for the words and figure " carned leave @ 15 days for every completed calendar year of service" , the words and figure " earned leave@ 30 days for every completed calendar year of service", shall be substituted .
