रेल मंत्रालय (रेलवे बोर्ड ) अधिसूचना
New Delhi , the 22nd November , 2001 नई दिल्ली, 22 नवम्बर, 2001
सा.का.नि. 858( अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, रेल अधिनियम , 1989 (1989का 24) की धारा 122 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, रेल ( दुर्घटनाओं की सूचना और जांच ) नियम , 1998 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
G.S.R. 858 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 122 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989 ), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Railway (Notices of and Inquiries into Accidents) Rules , 1998 , namely :-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम रेल ( दुर्घटनाओं की सूचना और जांच) संशोधन मियम , 2001 है ।
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Railway (Notices of and Inquiries into Accidents ) Amendment Rules , 2001 .
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. रेल ( दुर्घटनाओं की सूचना और जांच ) नियम, 1998 में नियम 6 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित नियम अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्ः-
2. In the Railway (Notices of and Inquiries into Accidents) Rules , 1998 after rule 6 , the following rule shall be inserted , namely:-
" 6क. दुर्घटनाओं की सही - सही रिपोर्ट देना सुनिश्चित करने की जिम्मेदारी दुर्घटनाओं की सही - सही रिपोर्ट देना सुनिश्चित करने की जिम्मेदारी मंडल स्तर पर मंडल रेल प्रबन्धक ( डी० आर ० एम ० ) की होगी तथा जोगल स्तर पर महाप्रबन्धक (जी० एम० ) की होगी। "
"6A Responsibility of ensuring correct reporting of accidents- The responsibility of ensuring correct reporting of accidents shall be of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) at Divisional Level and the General Manager (GM ) at Zonal Level .
