G.S.R 893(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred try the proviso to Article 309 and Clause (5) of Article 148 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 1997, namely:—

1 (1) These rules shall be called the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Amendment Rules. 2001 (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1 st day of January, 1996.

2. In the First Schedule to the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1997, in Part TT the following shall be inserted at serial number 8 and 9 under the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue as under.
