सं. 41 ( आर . ई. - 2001 )/ 1997-2002 का.आ. 1240( अ ) निर्यात और आयात नीति, 1997- 2002के पैराग्राफ 1.3 और 4.1 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार ( विकास तथा विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1992 की धारा 5 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार, 31-3-1997 को प्रकाशित और समय- समय पर यथासंशोधित, निर्यात और आयात मदों का आई टी सी (एचएस ) , वर्गीकरण , 1997-2002 में एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती हैं : -
उपर्युक्तनिर्यात आयात मदों के आई टी सी ( एव एस ) वर्गीकरण, 1997-2002 के अध्याय 40 में दिए गए आयात लाइसेंसिंग नोट के अन्त में निम्नलिखित धारा को जोड़ा जाएगा :
" ( 2 ) प्राकृतिक रबड़ के आयात ( सभी मदें एग्जिम शीर्ष 40.01 के तहत वर्गीकृत ) की अनुमति केवल कोलकाता और विशाखापत्तनम के सीमाशुल्क पत्तनों के जरिए होगी। "
उपर्युक्त प्रावधान 10 दिसम्बर , 2001 से लागू होगा । इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 19th December , 2001 No. 41 (RE- 2001 )/1997-2002
S.O. 1240 (E). In exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade ( Development and Regulation) Act , 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC ( HS ) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 1997-2002 , published on 31-03-1997 , and as amended from time to time, namely :----
Inthe import licensing notes , appearing in chapter 40 ofthe said ITC (HS ) Classifications ofExport and Import Items , 1997-2002 , the following clause shall be inserted in the end:
"(2) import of natural rubber ( all the items classified underExim Head 40.01 ) shall be permitted only through customs port at Kolkata and Vishakhapatnam .
The aforementioned provision shall be applicable with effect from 10th of December, 2001 .
