S.0.12$4(E).— hi pursuance of rule 200 of the Petroleum Rules, 1976 (hereinafter to be referred as said rules), the Central Government on the recommendation of the Chief Controller and in consideration of the necessity to import petro- leum, in public interest, hereby grants exemption from the provisions of rule 16 of the said rules in respect of import of petroleum, into India by 9ea at the following ports for a period of one year.
