का.आ. 1257( अ ) .- भारत सरकार, खान और खनिज (विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1957 ( 1957 का 67 ) की धारा 16 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के अनुच्छेद ( क) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा का.आ. 1116 ( अ ) दिनांक 13 दिसम्बर, 2000 के द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र ( असाधारण) भाग II , खण्ड 3 , उपखण्ड ( ii ) में दिनांक 13 दिसम्बर, 2000 को प्रकाशित खान मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के आदेश का अधिक्रमण करते हुए ( ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पूर्व किए गए परिवर्तनों या हटाए गए या हटाए जाने वाले अंशों को छोड़कर ) , एतद्वारः समय- सीमा को बढ़ा कर 31 दिसम्बर, 2002 करतो है जिसके दौरान खान और खनिज ( विनियमन और विकास ) संशोधन अधिनियम, 1972 की शुरुआत से पहले दिए गए सभी खनन पट्टों [ यदि खान और खनिज ( विनियमन और विकास ) संशोधन अधिनियम, 1994 की शुरुआत की तारीख को कार्यशील थे ] को इस अधिनियम के प्रावधानों तथा उनके तहत् बनाए गए नियमों के अनुरूप बनाया जाएगा ।

New Delhi , the 24th December , 2001
S.O. 1257 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub - section ( 1 ) of section 16 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 ( 67 of1957) and in supersession of the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Mines , published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary ) Part II , Section 3 , Sub - section ( ii) , dated the 13th December , 2000 , vide S.O. 1116(E) , dated the 13th December, 2000 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession , the Central Government hereby specifies the further time till 31st December, 2002 within which all mining leases , granted before the commencement of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Amendment Act, 1972 [ if in force at the date of commencement of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development ) Amendment Act, 1994 ] , shall bebrought in conformity with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder .
