का.आ. 1261 ( अ ) . भारत के राजपत्र, असाधारण , भाग II, खंड 3 , उप - खंड ( ii ) में दिनांक 17 मई , 2001 को प्रकाशित भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की दिनांक 17 मई, 2001 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 433 ( अ ) के आंशिक संशोधन में, जिसमें सार्वजनिक महत्व के एक निश्चित मामले , अर्थात् 6 दिसम्बर, 1992 को अयोध्या में राम जन्म भूमि- बाबरी मस्जिद ढांचे को गिराए जाने की जांच करने के लिए जांच आयोग का कार्यकाल बढ़ाया गया था, यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि उक्त आयोग , अर्थात् लिबरहान अयोध्या जांच आयोग , अपनी रिपोर्ट 30 जून, 2002 को या उससे पहले प्रस्तुत करेगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 26th December , 2001
S.O. 1261 (E ) . In partial modification of the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry ofHome Affairs No. S.O. 433 ( E ) dated the 17th May, 2001 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part - II , Section 3 , Sub- section ( in) , dated the 17th May, 2001 , extending the tenure of the Commission of Inquiry, to inquire into a definite matter of public importance, namcly, the destruction of Ram Janma Bhoomi -Babri Masjid structure at Ayodhya on the 6th December , 1992, it has been decided that the said Commission, namely, the Liberhan Ayodhya Commission of Inquiry, will submit its report on or before the 30th June , 2002 .
