The powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act,1956 (48 of 1956) the Central Government vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number S.O.532(E)dated, the 18th June, 2001, declared its intention to acquire the lands specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the public purpose of widening of National Highway No.60
