The National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) the Central Government hereby authorises the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Himatnagar, District- Sabarkantha Gujarat to perform the functions of the competent authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette in respect of the land stretch from km. 388.4 to km. 495.0 on National Highway No.8
