NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 31st January, 2002

S.0.150 (E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10 of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1956 (61 of 1956), read with rule 13 of Khadi and Village Industries Commission Rules, 1957, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry, the then Department of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries number S.O. 175(E), dated the 15th March, 1999, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated the 17th March, 1999, namely :—

In the said notification;

(i) for the words "Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries", wherever they occur the words "Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries" shall be substituted;

(ii) for serial number 1 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"1. Minister of Agro and Rural Industries,

Chairperson ;

KrishiBhawan, New Delhi-110011.

(m) for serial numbers 27.28 and 29 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"27 Dr. Laxminarain Pandey, Member, Lok Sabha

Member".
