S.O. 215( E).- in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) , read with rule 3 ofthe Securities and ExchangeBoard of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members ) Rules , 1992 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri G. N. Bajpai, Chairman, Life Insurance Corporation of India as the Chairman ofthe Securities and Exchange Board of India for a period of three years from the date he assumes charge of office of Chairman or until further orders , whichever is earlier.
का. आ. 215( अ ) भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड ( अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की सेवा शर्तें ) नियम , 1992 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड अधिनियम, 1992 (1992का 15 ) की धारा 4 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्द्वारा श्री जी. एन . बाजपेयी , अध्यक्ष , भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम को , उनके द्वारा अध्यक्ष का पदभार ग्रहण करने की तिथि से 3 वर्ष की अवधिके लिए अथवा आगामी आदेशों तक, जो भी पहले हो, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्त करती है ।
