सा.का.नि. 207( अ ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार बाट और माप मानक अधिनियम, 1976 ( 1976 का 60 ) की धारा 83 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय विधिक माप विज्ञान संस्थान नियम, 1980 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है ,
G.S.R. 207 (E ) . In exercise ofthe powers conferredby section 83 of the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 (60 of 1976 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Institute ofLegal Metrology Rules , 1980 , namely
अर्थात्: --
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Institute of Legal Metrology ( Amendment ) Rules , 2002 .
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय विधिक माप विज्ञान संस्थान ( संशोधन) नियम, 2002 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette .
2. भारतीय विधिक माप विज्ञान संस्थान नियम, 1980 के नियम
2. In the Indian Institute of Legal Metrology Rules 1980 in rule 8,-
8में,-
( i) for sub - rule (2 ) , the following sub -rule shall be substituted, namely :-
(i) उपनियम ( 2 ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित उपनियम रखा जाएगा, अर्थात्: -
"(2) The Central Government may constitute an advisory committee which shall consist of not less than 13 and not more than 15 members having experience in metrology , law orpublic administration. "
" ( 2 ) केन्द्रीय सरकार एक सलाहकार समिति का गठन कर सकेगी जिसमें माप विज्ञान , विधि या लोक प्रशासन में अनुभव करने वाले कम से कम 13 और अधिक से अधिक पन्द्रह सदस्य होंगे । "
( ii) sub -rules (3 ) and ( 4) shall be omitted .
(ii) उपनियम ( 3 ) और उपनियम (4 ) का लोप किया जाएगा । [फा. सं . डब्ल्यू. एम. 2( 8 ) /2001 ]

दिनांक 1-4-1980 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए व बाद में सा.का.मि. 644 ( अ) दिनांक 17-4-1986 , सा.का.नि. 190 (अ) दिनांक 9-3-1990 और सा.का. नि. 30 तारीख 13 जनवरी, 2000 द्वारा संशोधित किए गए ।
