In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 28th March, 2002

S.0.342(E).—-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984), the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely :—

In the First Schedule to the said Act, under sub-heading "Degrees",—

(i) against serial number 42 relating to the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, in column 3, after "B.V.Sc", the following shall be inserted, namely:—

"This qualification shall be a recognized veterinary qualification only when granted on or before the 12th February, 2001.";

(ii) after serial number 59 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:—

Bachelor of Veterinary Science

and Animal Husbandry

"60. University of Agricultural Sciences, BangaJore *

B.V.Sc&A.H. This qualification shall be a recognized veterinary qualification only when granted on or after the 10th March, 2000."
