का.आ. 345( अ ). केन्द्र सरकार जांघ आयोग अधिनियम, 1952( 1952 का 60 ) की धारा 3 के द्वारा प्रदप्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की 8 मई , 2000 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 441 ( अ ) में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना के विद्यमान पैरा 3 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित पैरा प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा, अर्थात्:
" 3. आयोग अपनी रिपोर्ट केन्द्र सरकार को यथाशीघ्र परन्तु 2 अक्तूबर, 2002 तक प्रस्तुत करेगा ।

441 (अ) के तहत प्रकाशित की गई थी तथा तत्पश्चात् इसे 31 मार्च, 2001 को का.आ. 302 ( अ ) के तहत और 28 सितम्बर, 2001 को का. आ. 971 ( अ) के तहत संशोधित किया गया था ।

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 28th March, 2002
S.O. 345( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs , number S.O. 441 (E) , dated the 8th May, 2000 , namely :-
In the said notification, for the existing paragraph 3 , the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:
" 3. The Commission shall submit its report to the Central Government as soon as possible but not later than the 2nd October , 2002. "

Note : The principal notification, appointing Justice Nanavati Commission of Inquiry, was published in the Gazette of India vide number S.O. 441 (E) , dated the 8th May, 2000 and subsequently amended vide number S.O. 302(E ) , dated , the 31st March, 2001 and S.O. 971 ( E) , dated the 28th September, 2001 .
