The Central Govt. hereby converts its IBRD Line of credit loan to IDBI of a balance sum of rupees nine hundred seventy three crores and forty eight lakhs as on 31-3-2002 into twenty year convertible debentures at an interest rate of 11.88 per cent, in budget neutral manner in the current year and eligible for qualifying as Tier -I capital of IDBI.
