का. आ. 372 ( अ ).-आयकर अधिनियम, 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 88 की उपधारा ( 2 ) के खंड ( x11i क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा उपर्युक्त खंड ( xiii क) के प्रयोजनार्थ उस निगम की वार्षिक योजनाओं के रूप में क्रमशः बीमा नियमावली, 1939 के नियम 17 ( ग ) के साथ पठित्त बीमा अधिनियम, 1938 ( 1938 का 4 ) की धारा 40 ख की उपधारा ( 1 ) और उक्त बीमा अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उपधारा (2 ) के साथ पठित धारा 26 के अन्तर्गत उक्त निगम द्वारा बीमा नियंत्रक के पास यथा दायर भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम की नई जीवन धारा और नई जीवन अक्षय योजनाओं को विनिर्दिष्ट करती है ।
2. यह अधिसूचना 1 फरवरी, 2002 से प्रवृत्त हुई समझी जाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 2nd April , 2002
(INCOME-TAX)
S.O. 372 ( E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( xiiia ) of sub - section ( 2 ) of Section 88 of the Income- tax Act , 1961 ( 43 of 1961 ) , the Central Government hereby specifies the New Jeevan Dhara and New Jeevan Akshay Plans of the Life Insurance Corporation of India , as filed by that Corporation with the Controller of Insurance under sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 40 B of the Insurance Act , 1938 (4 of 1938 ) , read with Rule 17C of the Insurance Rules , 1939 and Section 26 read with sub - section ( 2 ) of Section 3 of the said Insurance Act respectively, as the annuity plans of that Corporation for the purposes of the said clause (xiina) .
2. This Notification shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of February, 2002 .
