का. आ. 398 (अ) .-आतंकवाद निवारण अधिनियम, 2002 (2002का 15.) की धारा 18 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) के खंड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए और इस बात से संतुष्ट होने पर कि अल-कायदा आतंकवादी क्रियाकलापों में संलिप्त है, केन्द्रीय सरकार एतद्वारा उक्त संगठन को, इस आदेश के प्रकाशित होने की तारीख से, उक्त अधिनियम की अनुसूची में शामिल करती है और उक्त अनुसूची निम्न प्रकार से संशोधित हो जाएगी:-

" 28. अल- कायदा" (फा. सं. II/13014/10/2001- लीगल सैल) ए. के. जैन, संयुक्त सचिव नोट : आतंकवाद निवारण अधिनियम , 2002 की अनुसूची को इससे पहले भारत के राजपत्र में प्रकाशित दिनांक 3 अप्रैल , 2002 के आदेश सं. का.आ. 382( अ) के तहत संशोधित किया गया था ।

MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS ORDER New Delhi , the 9th April , 2002
S.O. 398 ( E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( a) of sub - section (2) of Section 18 of the Prevention of Terrorisın Act , 2002 ( 15 of 2002 ) , and on being satisfied that the Al -Qaida is involved in terrorism, the Central Government hereby adds the organisation to the Schedule to the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this Order, and the said Schedule shall stand amended as under :-

Note : The Schedule to the Prevention of Terrorism Act, 2002 was earlier amended by the Order published in the Gazette of India vide number S.O. 382 (E ) dated 3rdApril , 2002..
