का.आ. 474( अ ). भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड गुवाहाटी स्टॉक एक्सचेंज लिमिटेड, ( इसमें इसके पश्चात् " एक्सचेंज" के रूप में निर्दिष्ट ) द्वारा प्रतिभूत्ति संविदा ( विनियमन ) अधिनियम, 1956 ( इसमें इसके पश्चात् " अधिनियम " के रूप में निर्दिष्ट ) की धारा 3 के अधीन किए गए मान्यता के नवीकरण के लिए आवेदन पर विचार करते हुए और यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि यह व्यापार के हित में होगा और ऐसा करना लोक हित में भी होगा, एतद्वारा, अधिनियम द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एक्सचेंज को मान्यता का नवीकरण अधिनियम की धारा 4 के अधीन 1 मई , 2002 को प्रारम्भ होने वाली और 30 अप्रैल , 2003 को समाप्त हाने वाली एक वर्ष की अतिरिक्त कालाषधि के लिए प्रतिभूतियों में संविदाओं की बाबत, इसमें विनिर्दिष्ट शर्तों या जो इसके पश्चात् विहित अथवा अधिरोपित की जाएं के अध्यधीन प्रदान करता है :-
(क) ' भाप्रविबो निरीक्षण रिपोर्ट ( 2001-2002 ) के खंड- Vमें यथा विस्तृत सुझावों का कार्यान्वयन तथा अनुपालना, और
( ख) एक्सचेंज द्वारा उक्त सुझावों की अनुपालना के पुष्टीकरण के प्रस्तुतीकरण तथा आगे भाप्रविबो से अनुमोदन के अध्यधीन व्यापार प्रारंभ करेगा ।

SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION
Mumbai , the 30th April , 2002
S.O. 474 (E) .- Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 3 of the Securities Con- tracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 , (hereinafter referred to as "the Act" ) by Gauhati Stock Exchange Limited, (hereinaf- ter referred to as " the Exchange " ) and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Act , renewal of recognition to the Ex- change under Section 4 of the Act for a further period of one year commencing on the 1st day of May 2002 and ending on the 30th day of April 2003 in respect of con- tracts in securities , subject to the conditions specified hereinor as may be prescribed or imposed hereafter:---
(a) Implementation and compliance of the sug- gestions as detailed in Section - V of the SEBI Inspection report ( 2001-2002 ) , and (b) Shall commence trading subject to submis- sion of confirmation of the compliance of the said suggestions by the Exchange and fur- ther approval from SEBI.
