सा.का.नि. 312(अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार, विदेशियों विषयक अधिनियम , 1946 ( 1946 का 31 ) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, विदेशियों विषयक आदेश , 1948 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित आदेश बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. (1 ) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम विदेशियों विपयक (संशोधन ) आदेश, 2002 है ।
( 2) यह तुरंत प्रवृत्त होगा ।
2. विदेशियों विषयक आदेश , 1948 के पैरा 7 के उप पैरा (3 ) में विद्यमान खंड ( ii ) के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित खंड रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्: -
" ( ii ) यदि अनुज्ञा पत्र में भारत में ठहरने के लिए स्थान या स्थानों को उपदर्शित किया गया है तो किसी ऐसे स्थान पर अपने आगमन और वहां से प्रस्थान कीस्वयं या लिखित रूप में, ऐसे स्थान पर अधिकारिता रखने वाले रजिस्ट्रीकरण अधिकारी को यथास्थिति अपने आगमन के पश्चात्या अपने आशयित प्रस्थान के पूर्व चौबीस घंटे के भीतर रिपोर्ट करेगा; और"
[फा. सं. 12011 /5 /2001 - एफ. III ] प्रवीण श्रीवास्तव , संयुक्त सचिव टिप्पणी:- मूल आदेश भारत के राजपत्र में 10 फरवरी, 1948 को सं. 9/9/46 के अधीन प्रकाशित किए गए थे और उसके बाद उनमें 21 दिसम्बर, 1989 के सा.का.नि. 84 के अधीन संशोधन किया गया था ।

MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th April, 2002
G.S.R. 312(E ) . In exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 3 of the Forcigners Acts , 1946 ( XXXI of 1946) , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Foreigners Order , 1948 , namely:-
1. ( 1 ) This Order may be called the Foreigners (Amendment) Order, 2002.
(2) Itshall come into force at once .
2. In the Foreigners Order, 1948 , in sub-paragraph (3 ) of paragraph 7, for the existing clause ( ii ) , the following clause shall be substituted , namely -
"( ii) shall , if the permit indicates the place or places for stay in India, report in person or in writing his arrival at, and departure from, any such place to the Registration Officer having jurisdiction at such place,within twenty- four hours after his arrival or, as the case maybe, before his intended departure ; and"
