अधिसूचना नई दिल्ली , 7 मई , 2002 (आय-कर )
S.O. 494 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ) , the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the fol- lowing rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962, namely :-
का.आ. 494( अ) केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड , आय- कर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 295 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, आय- कर नियम , 1962 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाता है , अर्थात्
1. (1) These rules may be called the Income- tax( Sixth Amendment) Rules , 2002 .
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम आय- कर ( छठा संशोधन ) नियम, 2002 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. आय- कर नियम, 1962 के नियम 11 ट के खंड ( i ) में, मद ( द ) के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित मद अंतः स्थापित की जाएगी , अर्थात्: -
2. In the Income- tax Rules , 1962 , in rule 11K, in clause (i ) , after item (r) , the following item shall be in- serted, namely :-
" ( ध ) असुविधाग्रस्त व्यक्तियों को राहत और उनका पुनर्वास;" ।
"(s) relief and rehabilitation of handicapped individuals;" .

टिप्पण:-मूल नियम अधिसूचना सं. का. आ. 969 ( अ ) , तारीख 26 मार्च, 1962 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और अंतिम बार अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 356 ( अ ) , तारीख 1-4-2002 द्वारा आय - कर ( पाँचवाँ संशोधन ) नियम, 2002 का संशोधन किया गया ।
Note : The principal rules were published vide Notifi- cation No. S.O. 969 (E) , dated the 26th March, 1962 and last amended by Income-tax (Fifth Amendment) Rules , 2002 vide Notification S.O. No. 356 (E) , dated the 1st April , 2002 .
