का.आ. 496( अ ) .-सीमाशुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 (1962 का 52 ) की धारा 25 की उपधारा 4 के साथ पठित तम्बाकू उपकरण अधिनियम, 1975 ( 1975 का 26 ) की धारा 4 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार इस बात के प्रप्ति संतुष्ट होकर कि जन हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक है , एतद्वारा निर्यात अभिमुख एकक (ई ओ यू) तथा निर्यात संसाधन जोनों एवं विशेष आर्थिक जोनों के एककों को तम्बाकू के निर्यात पर उपस्कर के भुगतान से तत्काल प्रभाव से छूट प्रदान करती है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd May, 2002
S.O. 496(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tobacco Cess Act, 1975 (26 of 1975) , readwith sub- section ( 1 ) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962 ) , the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby exempts the export oriented units (EOUs ) and units in the Export Processing Zones (EPZs ) and Special Economic Zones ( SEZs)from payment of cess on export of tobacco, with immediate effect.
