Issue ofGovernment Securities

No. 4(9)-W&M/2000.-In the Notification issued by this Ministry vide No. 4(9) -W&M/2000 dated 6-5-2002, the following sub -para may be inserted between sub -paras ( ii ) and (iv) below para 2.7 of the Notification ibid:

"( iii) The Government Security may be repaid , at the option of the holder of the Security, before the specified redemption date, where a ' put option' is specified in the Specific Notification relating to the issue of a Government Security".
