का.आ. 499( अ ). केन्द्रीय सरकार , मोटरयान अधिनियम, 1988 ( 1988 का 59 ) की धारा 8 , 9 , 11 , 12, 15 , 17, 19 , 27, 44, 47, 49, 51 , 54, 56, 64, धारा 88 की उपधारा ( 14 ) और धारा 110 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय मोटर यान ( पहला संशोधन ) नियम, 2001 में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्: -
S.O. 499 (E ) . In exercise of powers conferred by Sections 8 , 9, 11 , 12, 15 , 17, 19 , 27, 44, 47, 49 , 51 , 54, 56, 64, sub-section (14) ofsection 88 and section 110 oftheMotor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Central Motor Vehicles (1st Amendment) Rules , 2001 , namely :-
उक्त नियमों के नियम 1 के उपनियम ( 2 ) में, " 30 जून , 2002" शब्द और अंकों के स्थान पर 28 फरवरी , 2003 " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।
In the said rules , in rule 1, in sub -rule (2), for the words, figures and letters " on 30th June , 2002 " , the words , figures and letters " on 28th February , 2003 " shall be substituted.

Note : The Central Motor Vehicles ( 1st Amendment) Rules , 2001 was published in the Gazette of India , Extraordinary vide Notification No. G.S.R. 221 (E) , dated 28th March, 2001 and subsequently amended vide Notification No. S.O. 938 (E) , dated 24th September, 2001 .
