No. 26(3)/2002- Med. In exercise of the powers conferredby Section 33 ofthe Indian Medical Council Act, 1956( 102 of 1956) , the Medical Council of India with the previous approval of the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations to amend the regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997 , namely :
सं. 26( 3 )/2002-चिकि. भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम, 1956 ( 1956 का 102 ) की धारा 33 में प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् केन्द्र सरकार के पूर्व अनुमोदन से स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षण विनियम, 1997 के विनियमों में संशोधन के लिए निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. (1 ) These regulations may be called the "Graduate Medical Education ( Amendment) Regulations , 2002" .
1. ( 1 ) ये विनियम " स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षण ( संशोधित ) विनियम, 2002 " कहलाएंगे ।
(2) It shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
( 2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रभावी होंगे ।
2. In the Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997, in regulation 13 , after sub- regulation (9), the following sub - regulation shall be inserted, namely :-
2. स्नातक चिकित्सा शिक्षण , 1997 विनियमों में उप- विनियम के पश्चात् विनियम 13 में निम्नलिखित उप- विनियम प्रतिस्थापित किया जाएगा , अर्थात्: -
"(10) The grace marks up to a maximum of five marks may be awarded at the discretion of the University to a student who has failed only in one subject but has passed in all other subjects . "
" ( 10 ) जो विद्यार्थी सभी विषयों में उत्तीर्ण हुआ हो परन्तु मात्र एक विषय में अनुत्तीर्ण हुआ हो उसे विश्वविद्यालय के विवेक पर अधिकतम पांच अनुग्रहांक दिये जा सकते हैं " ।

on Graduate Medical Education, 1997 " was published in Part III Section 4-of the Gazette of India on 17th May, 1997 and amended vide MCI notification dated 10th May, 1999 published in Part III Section 4 ofthe Gazette of India on 29th May, 1999.
विनियम, 1997 " 17 मई, 1997 को भारत सरकार के राजपत्र के भाग 3 खण्ड 4 में प्रकाशित हुए थे तथा भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् की 10 मई, 1999 की अधिसूचना के माध्यम से, 29 मई , 1999 को इनमें संशोधन किया गया था।
