New Delhi, the 9th July, 2002
S.O.713(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 17 of the Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1994 (57 of 1994), the Central Government hereby appoints the following Appropriate Authorities and Advisory Committees for Defence Services Medical Installations located in the Union Territories of Delhi and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, namely: -
I. Appropriate Authority for Defence Services Medical Installations in Delhi:
Deputy Director Medical Services (DDMS) HQ Delhi Area, New Delhi.
Advisory Committee to aid and advise the Appropriate Authority appointed for Defence Services Medical Installations in Delhi:
1. Senior Specialist, Obstetrics & Gynaecology Chairperson,
providing cover to Base Hospital, Delhi
2. Senior Specialist, Paediatrics providing cover to Member.

3. Senior Specialist Pathology providing cover to Member.

4. Officer in charge, HQ Delhi Area Legal Cell Member. 5. Deputy Director (MEM), Directorate of Family Member.
