No. 631] NEW DELHI, SATURDAY, JULY 13, 2002/ASADHA 22,1924(1) 2239 GI/2002 2_ THE GAZiqTKOFINDIA: EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] CAHliNJH SKCHKlAKlAT NOnnCAlTON New Delhi, the 13th July, 2002 S.O. 743(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 11 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1 % 1, namely :—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Two hundred and 'sixty-third Amendment) Rules, 2002.

(2) They shall come jnto force at once.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in the Second Schedule,—

(a) under the heading "MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND FORESTS (PARYAVARAN TATHA VAN MANTRALAYA)" after entry 25, the following entries shall be added, namely :—

"26. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960).

27. Prevention of cruelty to animals.

28. Matters relating to pounds and cattle trespass.

29. Gaushalas and Gausadans.";

(b) under the heading'MNISTRY OF STATISTICS AND PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION (SANKHYTKI AURKARYAKJUMKARYANVAYANMANTRALYA)", entries 18to21 shall be omitted.".
