S.0.757 (EV—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number 470 (E), dated the 29th April 2002, issued under sub-section (1) of section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire for the of public purpose the lands specified in the Schedule appended to that notification for the purpose of four-laning of National Highway No.5 from Km.29/000 to Km.60/400 (Visakhapatnam - Bhubaneswar Section) in the District of Vizlanagaram in the State of Andhra Pradesh;

And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.

Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report, and In exercise of the powers conferred sub section (1) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declared that the land specified in the Schedule annexed below are to be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.

And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on the publication of this notification in the Official Gazette the lands specified in the said Schedule, shall vest absolutely with the Central Government free from encumbrances.
