The Veterinary Council of India in pursuance of sub-section ( 1 ) of Section 23 of Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 ( 52 of 1984) is required lo maintain a register known as Indian Veterinary Practitioners Register which shall contain the names of all persons who possess the recognised veterinary qualification and who are for the time being enrolled on State/UI Veterinary Council of the Slate to which this Act, extends.
