Shri Krishan Kant, Vice-President of India, passed away in the morning of 27th July, 2002 at New Delhi. The death of Shri Krishan Kant has deprived the country of a true Gandhian who always stood for democratic values. Shri Krishan Kant was an able Statesman, a seasoned Parliamentarian and humanist to the core.
