का.आ. 918 (अ). संयुक्त राष्ट्र ( विशेषाधिकार एवं उन्मुक्तियां ) अधिनियम, 1947 ( 1947 का 46 ) के खण्ड 3 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा यह घोषणा करती है कि उक्त अधिनियम की अनुसूची के अनुच्छेद -11 ( केवल खण्ड 7 ) के उपबन्ध सार्वभौम पर्यावरण सुविधा ( जी ई एफ ) और उसके प्रतिनिधियों तथा अधिकारियों पर निम्नलिखित संशोधनों के अधीन यथावश्यक परिवर्तनों सहित लागू होंगे, नामतः : -
उक्त अधिनियम की अनुसूची में, जब कभी " संगुक्त राष्ट्र" शब्द अनुच्छेद -11 के खण्ड 7 में आएंगे उसके स्थान पर " सार्वभौम पर्यावरण सुविधा " शब्द प्रयुक्त किए आएंगे ।

MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 28th August, 2002 S.O. 918( E) . In pursuance of Section 3 of the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities ) Act, 1947 (46 of1947) , the Central Government hereby declares that the provisions ofArticle II ( Scction 7 only) of the Schedule to the said Act shall apply mutatis mutandis to the Global Environment Facility ( GEF) and to its representatives and officers subject to the following modifications , namely :-
In the Schedule of the said Act , for the words " The United Nations " wherever they occur in section 7 of Article Il the words "Global Environment Facility " shall be substituted.
