2. The said Regulations shall come into force on the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette'
SCHEDIM
Inexercisc of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the MPT,.Act, 1963 (Aclof 38 of 1963) the Board of Trustees of the Port of Visakhapatnam hereby makes, the following Regulations further to amend the Visakhapatnam Port Employees (GPF) Regulations, 1993 subject to the approval of the Central Government under Section 124 of the said Act. 1. Short Title and Commencement.
(a) These Regulations may be called the Visakhapatnam Port Employees (GPF) Amendment Regulations, 2002.
(b) They shall come ir-to ferae from the date of publication of these Regulations in the Cental Gizetfi of India.
2. in proviso of sub-clause (ii) of sub-regujatiort (5) of Regulation 2, the words "Head of Department" may be substituted with the words "Accounts Officer".
