The powers conferred by Section 15(1) of the Emigration Act. 1983 (31 of 1983) the Central Government hereby appoints Shri K. Chandramouli, Joint Secretary and Protector General of Emigrants, in the Ministry of Labour. Government of India as the Competent Authority with effect from 5th September. 2002 (Afternoon) till further orders.
